Consider Heat and Humidity

The leaves on high-quality artificial wreaths and garlands can last 7-10 years if used and stored properly. However, the lights on pre-installed light fixtures may need to be replaced every three years due to normal wear and tear.
Outdoor artificial trees have to deal with harsher environments, so their lifespan is around 5-7 years with normal use.
